The project manager reports to the Manager Auxiliary Systems in Roosendaal, The Netherlands.

Basic Function
The project manager plans and co-ordinates customer contracts for seals and systems to different OEMs and end users. The challenge in the position is to manage a quantity of orders/contracts to the extent that the contracts not only meet the contractual obligations from a commercial and technical perspective, but also support the financial goals, such as the financial shipment forecast and the financial contract budget.

Accountabilities
The project manager is responsible for and has authority to accomplish the fulfillment of the following accountabilities:

• Proper entry of clear, well defined, correctly priced and technically acceptable orders into administration, engineering and manufacturing systems through kick off meeting with disciplines involved and prior involvement in the final stages of the selling process.
• Co-ordination of correct order handling, including software requirements by customers.
• Maintain relations with customer's purchasing, expediting, engineering and inspection personnel to set a good and proper company image to the customer.
• Present timely, accurate invoicing, both on products shipped and according deferred payment schedules and to assist in timely collection of money.
• Maintain existing and assist to develop new systems related to status and progress reporting of orders within the plant for financial data and for providing to customers.
• Maintain liaison with purchasing, engineering and production control to obtain status information and co-ordinate information flow in both directions between the customer and the company, as well as their suppliers where applicable.
• Focus on the safe and efficient use of people, equipment, materials and controls to the best possible advantage.
• Ensure on-time delivery performance.
• Ensure margin and cash flow enhancement through budget control, correct invoicing and on time payment by customers.
• Participating in improvement programs, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing etc. is mandatory within this position.

• Technical education min college degree engineering level (HTS), min 5-10 years of related engineering experience. Commercial knowledge of international trading, shipping, monetary transactions, schedule and cost control techniques.

  Good understanding of admin practices and procedures
  Understanding of ISO 9001
  Knowledge of systems functioning and design

The Inventory and Planning Analyst EMA is reporting to the Planning Manager EMA and works closely together with both Roosendaal and Dortmund Inventory Coordinators.


Responsibilities

• Analyzing demand and supply of seal parts in EMA repair and production facilities in order to define correct inventory levels and order quantities in EMA repair facilities.
• Analyzing obsolete and slow-moving inventories.
• Documenting and validating new and existing Add-To-Inventory requests.
• Analyzing and reporting of EMA inventory and capacity related KPIs.
• Plan, initiate, coordinate and implement improvements in EMA inventory and related processes.
• Control the return of goods from EMA repair facilities to production facilities in Dortmund and Roosendaal.

Objectives will be focused on on-time-delivery, reduction of cycle times, stock availability, inventory turns and cash flow.

Plans, supervises and directs the activities of the Engineering Department for pump seals to effectively promote the company’s technical position

The incumbent is charged with the responsibility for the: 

• Order Engineering for new unit orders for pumps in Roosendaal, incl. Admin.
  The design of special and new units must be based on available R & D data and engineering manuals with the emphasis in design on the manufacturing economics.
  These engineering activities are executed in the Roosendaal engineering offices, in local sales offices and in quick response centers.
  For practical reasons the engineers operating locally report to local sales management as far as priority setting is concerned. However, Engineering is responsible for quality and uniformity.
• Technical Solutions in Roosendaal, consisting of Technical Services Engineering, Field Service, Testlab and Customer Support
  Technical Services Engineering is concerned with the preparation of technical proposals, product support, materials and selections.
  Field Service is charged with installation of products, commissioning and trouble shooting.
  Test Lab is responsible for testing of new designs and trouble jobs.
  Customer Support performs investigation of and advice on returned (failed) seals.

The incumbent’s direct reports are: 

• Manager Technical Solutions 
• Coordinator Order Engineering
• Coordinator Admin Group Order Engineering

The incumbent in this position directs and controls the design and correct technical application of mechanical seals so that reliable and competitive products become available to the market place.

The majority of the incumbent’s time is spent on enhancing Flowserve’s technical know-how and image. Optimize processes within the departments that fall under his responsibility, enabling a smooth order flow throughout the organization. Contribute to shortening the company’s lead times, effecting cost improvement and increasing efficiency.

The Manager of Engineering for the Flow Solutions Group in Roosendaal is responsible for, and has commensurate authority to accomplish the fulfillment of the following principal accountabilities:

The Manufacturing Manager reports to the Operations Manager EMA Seal Operations and is a member of the Roosendaal management team.

The Manufacturing Manager leads the Roosendaal manufacturing department in support of all FSD EMA business objectives. This position is responsible for approximately 95 people. The position will have 6 direct reports. The Roosendaal facility serves as a “HUB” for the production of standard and engineered pump seals in EMA.

The manufacturing manager must have the enthusiasm and energy to proactively lead in a high growth environment, while fostering FSD’s high customer service and success cycle model.

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: manufacturing of parts, assembly of seals, work preparation, manufacturing engineering and maintenance of machines, facility and utilities. The Manufacturing Manager develops capital budget plans and executes approvals to provide expected re-turn.

Direct and mentor staff of managers and leaders, provide feedback on perfor-mance and developmental planning.

Lead the manufacturing department to meet (internal and external) customer delivery requirements. Manage the department in a manner that results in in-ternal projects being completed on time and per scheduled commitments.

Achieve production targets: efficiency, utilization, scrap and rework rates, on time delivery and the quality of products and processes. The Manufacturing Manager is also accountable for cost control, capacity planning, cycle times, productivity, lean manufacturing, manpower resource planning, staff support and training.

Attend and prepare for weekly operational meetings to discuss manufacturing department performance.

Champion the Continuous Improvement activities to ensure manufacturing de-partment performance improvements and employee development. Ensures compliance with SHEA requirements.

Develop capital budget plans and execute approvals to provide expected return

• Education on at least a bachelor degree level in mechanical engineering or business administration combined with minimum 10 years of experience of which 5 years in a management position, preferably in the metal machining in-dustry.

• Een optimale ploeg creeren wat betreft vaardigheden en kennis. 
• Mogelijk tijdelijk het vervangen van de Supervisor. 
• Algemene gang van zaken bij het vervaardigen van de producten zodanig regelen, dat aan de gestelde eisen t.a.v. kwantiteit, kwaliteit en levertijd wordt voldaan. 
• Het begeleiden en zonodig instrueren van medewerkers ten aanzien van het juiste gebruik van machines en gereedschappen.

Flowserve te Roosendaal (Noord Brabant) is per direct op zoek naar CNC Draaier/ Frezer. De werkzaamheden bestaan uit het het draaien en frezen van onderdelen uit roestvrij staal die uiteindelijk bedoeld zijn voor de asafdichtingen van pompen. Afhankelijk van uw ervaring en opleiding zullen de werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd op een conventionele en/of CNC machines.

Functie eisen

1. Diploma VMBO-MBO praktijk – Kenteq BBL, Niveau 2 of gelijkwaardig.
2. Ervaring met CNC machines draaien/frezen.
3. Communicatieve vaardigheden.
4. Flexibele instelling.

Voorkeur (aanvullend):

1. Diploma Geometrische Meettechniek
2. Kenteq BBL, Niveau 3
3. Ervaring met Intergrex 200, Mazatrol programmeren

Binnen de afdeling wordt gestreefd naar een hoge mate van flexibiliteit.
