• Het zelfstandig bewerken van alle voorkomende werkstukken op een CNC draaibank met
  een 2-assige besturing, inclusief het lezen van programma?s. 
• Het aanpassen van programma?s op de machine en het mede optimaliseren van de programma?s. 
• Het zoveel mogelijk compleet afleveren van het produkt, middels afbramen en merken.

Kotteraar (conventioneel/ CNC)

• Het zelfstandig volgens tekening kotteren (draaien, boren, frezen) van gecompliceerde gietstukken tot 10.000 kg., zoals meertraps pomphuizen en andere drukvaten met een hoge nauwkeurigheid volgens het I.S.A. passingstelsel. De onderdelen zijn meestal van hoog gelegeerd gietstaal.

Functie omschrijving:

• Het zelfstandig verzorgen (volgens geldende voorschriften) van een veilige en ongestoorde elektriciteitsvoorziening aan testing. 
  
• Het realiseren van elektronische meetopstellingen voor het meten van vermogen, frequentie, druk, temperatuur en aanloopkarakteristieken van elektromotoren. 
  
• Zorgen dragen voor de juiste bekabeling, het correct aansluiten van hoogspanningselektromotoren en het bediening van het instrumentarium voor het elektronische gedeelte tijdens het testen. 
  
• Indien nodig, meehelpen op de testvloer.

• Het vervullen van de functie werkverantwoordelijke (WV) in de zin van het elektrotechnisch veiligheidsbesluit. U weet dan de risicos van werkzaamheden juist in te schatten en op basis van die risico?s een verantwoorde werkwijze te kiezen. Working as part of an international team and in support of our key Aftermarket Sales and Customer Service initiatives, the role will be to collect, analyze and interpret both FSG and customer data to facilitate the generation of product, pricing and installed base data. Principle Accountabilities
Pricing and Contract:

• Creation and maintenance of requested Contracts/Blanket Price Agreements.
• Support Parts initiatives with compilation of all required technical and commercial information, including customer inventory assessment.

• Provide assistance to sales with commercial parts data analysis.

Aftermarket Data:

Responsibility

• The incumbent?s activities are primarily related to the product engineering and typical specific order engineering work on the bare shaft pumps and customer documents.
• He is responsible for reporting the LPO/design center activities to Product Management and the Directorr of engineering and for the job related activities to the Director of Engineering and Manager of Operations.
• The position requires broad knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and materials engineering.
• Due to specific expertise obtained he can also be assigned trouble shooting tasks and other engineering tasks, if the situation requires so.

• Leading, coaching and managing a team of +/- 10 engineers and draftsmen. Implement and control a personnel assessment plan for the team.
• The review and evaluation of customer specifications related to technical acceptability from a hydraulic, mechanical and material perspective.
• The review and evaluation of supplier?s quotations and documentation to verify the compliance with customer specifications.
• The co-ordination and assignment of engineering activities to other engineering functions, such as Project Engineering, Technical Support Functions and others.
• The on-time issue of specifications, documentation for procurement and manufacturing purposes.
• Implement contract variations after review and acceptance.
• Make available technical information on the product ranges allowing the quoting, manufacturing and packaging the product worldwide.

• Follow Flowserve standards
• Create design tools for the pump engineers in order to facilitate and structure the pump designs.
• Support the pump design engineers and Customer Service Order Acquisition Group whenever necessary.
• Continually develop / Implement improvements within the team to improve Operational performance aligned with corporate objectives and Customer requirements. Improve working processes and define possible areas for standardization.
• Participate in improvement project activities such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma etc; to continually improve the operational performance.

• Reduction in the number of engineering change notices; 
• The on-time delivery goal;

Functie eisen

Education:

• Technical education at a level of bachelor in mechanical engineering as a minimum.

• Knowledge of the petrochemical industry in general and an extended knowledge of the specifications/requirements applicable in this industry is a plus.

• The function requires a 3 - 5 years working experience in engineering of rotating equipment and within a customer oriented working environment.

• To be able to communicate at all levels in the organization up to the operations management level.

• Fluently in foreign languages - English and preferably Dutch
  
• Self motivation and drive to meet schedules

1. Leads, coaches and manage a team of engineers 
2. Plans, directs and co-ordinates the product engineering activities of the assigned projects satisfying internal and external customer requirements. 
3. Submittal of high quality contractual documentation within the planning in order to: 
   1. Meet the company's goal for on-time delivery; 
   2. Contribute the cash-flow situation of the company; 
   3. Contribute in the reduction of the cost of quality.
4. Efficient use of engineering resources to meet and/or improve the established project budget. 
5. Interfaces with other functions to assist in the on time completion of the engineering activities. 
6. Technically evaluates pump selections made by CSOA in the bid phase. 
7. Performs the product engineering activities in such a way that optimum cost effectiveness is obtained between quality, design, and manufacturing, while ensuring that the division engineering design standards are adhered to. 
8. Provides management with accurate and informative reports, evaluating the results of project assignments along with appropriate recommended course of action. 
9. Organize/participate in design review meetings, internally & externally when required.
