Service Center Etten-Leur produces high quality engineered pumps upgrades and pumps field service installations for mainly the Oil & Gas and Power/Nuclear markets in and outside the Benelux.
The projects are of a broad range of complexity, requiring judgment in financial risks and acceptability of contracts. The increasing software demands require strict control and maintenance of an adequate administrative system to monitor the progress and follow-up, ensuring complete fulfillment of the requirements and optimal customer relations. The customer contact requires a broad knowledge of various languages and commercial terms, customs and conditions.

Basic Function:

• The Project Manager plans, organizes, directs, co-ordinates and controls customer contracts for service and repair orders (large upgrade projects).
• 80% of working time will be at desk location.
• 15% on workshop floor and 5% travelling (mostly inside Europe)

Reporting:

• The position of the Project Manager in SC Etten-Leur reports to the Lead Project Manager.
• Reporting, in a matrix structure, to other incumbent in positions with responsibilities for the assigned projects.

Responsibility:

• The incumbent is responsible for:
• Control of the assigned projects to meet the agreed contractual requirements related to scope, quality, and delivery of hardware and software.
• The incumbent is also responsible for project budget.

Key contacts:

• The function requires the support and the contact at all managerial levels, up to the Operations management level. In addition the position requires the direct contacts with sales, other Flowserve facilities, customer, inspection agencies, national governmental departments, export agencies and suppliers. Furthermore contact with other departments during project handling is at a high level.

Principle Accountabilities: |
The Project Manager for the SC Etten-Leur is responsible for and has authority to accomplish the fulfillment of the following principle accountabilities: 

• Proper entry of clear, well defined, correctly priced and technically acceptable orders into administration, engineering and manufacturing systems through kick off meeting with disciplines involved. 
• Co-ordination of correct order handling, including software requirements by customers. 
• Maintain proper relations with customer's purchasing, expediting, engineering and inspection personnel to set a good company image. 
• Present timely, accurate invoicing, both on products shipped and according deferred payment schedules to assist in timely collection of money. 
• Maintain liaison with purchasing, engineering and production control to obtain status information and co-ordinate information flow in both directions between the customer and the company. 
• Focus on the safe and efficient use of people, equipment, materials and controls to the best possible advantage. 
• Contribute to on-time delivery performance. 
• Ensure margin and cash flow enhancement through budget control, correct invoicing and on time payment by customers. 
• Drive CIP (Continuous Improvement Program) Projects.

Education:

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (HTS – WTB).

He reports to the Manager of Product Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• The review and evaluation of specifications related to the mechanical and hydraulic design of centrifugal pumps for customer contracts;

Functie omschrijving

De Engineer Aftermarket verzorgt de engineering en technische specificaties op basis waarvan reparaties en/of modificaties van centrifugaalpompen zodanig kunnen worden uit gevoerd dat aan de klantenspecificaties wordt voldaan. Tevens verleent de Engineer Aftermarket technische ondersteuning voor het maken van aanbiedingen.

Doelstelling functie:
Op basis van klantspecificaties samenstellen en vervaardigen van documenten, zoals detail- en samenstellingstekeningen, stuklijsten etc. ten behoeve van het uitvoeren van reparaties en modificatie van centrifugaalpompen.

Werkzaamheden

• Verzamelen van alle relevante informatie om een juiste voorbereiding voor productie te kunnen maken en indien nodig gietstukken te bestellen.
• Berekeningen maken en vervaardigen van tekeningen voor het maken van de pomponderdelen. Onder begeleiding vervaardigen van hydraulische tekeningen.
• Indien nodig ontwerpen van hulpgereedschappen voor montage van de verschillende onderdelen.
• Maken van zogenaamde ‘Bill of Material’ op, een uitgebreide stuklijst met daarop alle voor de vervaardiging van onderdelen van de pomp noodzakelijke informatie, maar ook de informatie op basis waarvan onderdelen ingekocht kunnen worden.
• Maken van specificaties voor het bestellen van motoren, seals, seal systemen, koppelingen en instrumentatie.
• Adviseren over mogelijke oplossingen tijdens de productie.
• Instrueren en controleren van de werkzaamheden van de tekenaars.
• Indien nodig aanpassen van instructie en manuals.

CNC Draaier:

• Het zelfstandig bewerken van alle voorkomende werkstukken op een CNC draaibank met
  een 2-assige besturing, inclusief het lezen van programma’s. 
• Het aanpassen van programma’s op de machine en het mede optimaliseren van de programma’s. 
• Het zoveel mogelijk compleet afleveren van het produkt, middels afbramen en merken.

Kotteraar (conventioneel/ CNC)

• Het zelfstandig volgens tekening kotteren (draaien, boren, frezen) van gecompliceerde gietstukken tot 10.000 kg., zoals meertraps pomphuizen en andere drukvaten met een hoge nauwkeurigheid volgens het I.S.A. passingstelsel. De onderdelen zijn meestal van hoog gelegeerd gietstaal.
